Waraq Ghar

Food is really good here. We ordered the mix grilled plate and the chicken and meats were cooked really well. Hummus and Shami Mujarmashah (flat bread with a thin layer of mince meat and vegies) was really tasty. Also tried the Um Ali, cant say it was my favorite but it was ok. Service is good here. Atmosphere is fine since its in the mall.

Outstanding Grilled Delights at Waraqghar! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Waraqghar Restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We ordered a mix grill platter, rice, and grilled kebbah, and each dish exceeded our expectations. The mix grill was perfectly cooked—juicy, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection. The variety of meats offered a great balance, ensuring every bite was a delight. The real standout for me was the grilled kebbah—crispy on the outside, yet tender and bursting with rich, smoky flavors inside. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. I recently had my first visit to Waraq Ghar, and I have to say, it was a delightful surprise. From the moment I walked in, the whole atmosphere just felt welcoming. The vibe, the service, and even the overall cleanliness were top-notch. It was a real taste of Syrian cuisine that I absolutely loved. The spices were perfect, and everything tasted authentic and delicious. Plus, the staff were super polite and friendly, all smiles and really attentive. I even got to meet the supervisor, who was so welcoming when he found out it was my first time there. He made sure I knew it was going to be a memorable experience, and it really was. All in all, I’m definitely coming back. If you’re curious about trying some great Syrian food, Waraq Ghar is the place to go!

From my first experience at this restaurant, it instantly became my favorite. First of all, the waitresses were extremely kind and welcoming, with very friendly attitudes. Second, everything in the restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. Now to the food: we ordered Kibbeh Labanieh, Mexican chicken, a mixed grill platter, and appetizers including hummus, mutabbal, fattoush, tabbouleh, and grilled kibbeh. The food was amazing and incredibly delicious. Honestly, there wasn’t a single dish I could describe as “average.” Every item was prepared generously and perfectly following the authentic standards of Damascene cuisine. On top of all that, the prices were really reasonable. A restaurant truly worth trying — I highly recommend it and it will always be my go-to place.

Authentic high quality Syrian cuisine and very reasonable!!! Best restaraunt in Tawar mall by a country mall. Service excellent, marked down as food court a little flat but that's nothing to do with restaurant. Love the specials everyday, sweets and Fatayers. If you're in Tawar it's definitely the number go to
